I have been using a Toshiba laptop from mid 2007.I had to change the display setting. The tablet isn't frozen, the screen has been shut off. This causes the computer to act like it is frozen when it wakes up. When Windows did their routine update the display setting was reset to default.I'm a therapist, this machine is my workhorse. This device is perfect for on the go, bedside, at the table with a cup of coffee, where ever and whenever. I have three computers in order to do work at home. It seems like a seven step journey to get there but it works and my machine is back. There isn't a simple way to get to the settings.

But the most concerning was its tendency to 'brick up.' Meaning, that it would have full power and it would be turned on, but sometimes the screen would just go black and no buttons would turn it on.
